Drip irrigation screen filter is made of a shell (of steel or engineering plastics) and stainless screens. Such filter is simple in structure and convenient to install. it is the most widely used filter in irrigation system. It is most effective for treating inorganic impurities in water. When the water flows through the filter, impurities larger than the meshes of the filter will be screened. With the increase of impurities adhering to the screen, the passing water pressure drops and the impurities on the adhering screen are removed by manual or automatic cleaning devices. For water source of poor water quality, a centrifugal filter can be used in combination.
